How do I check if PeakHour is reporting data accurately?
The simplest way to check whether PeakHour is measuring your Internet Gateway’s traffic accurately is to run a Network Quality test and compare the results against what PeakHour’s monitor shows.
Open Settings → Dashboard, enable Measure Network Quality, then click Run Now under Network Quality Test. While the test runs, watch the monitor for your Internet Gateway: the upload and download throughput it shows should roughly match the speeds reported under ISP on the Internet Dashboard when the test completes.

You can also right-click the Internet Dashboard and run a Network Quality test from there.
If the numbers don’t match, see Adjust Scaling Factor and, for UPnP routers, Testing your router’s UPnP with MiniUPnP. Check out the Usage Monitoring page for more information on accuracy.
